We aren't huge fans of the flipped classroom. In general, we think it's a misdirection of resources, and only really helps students who were going to learn well on their own anyway.

This great piece (from back in 2020, when Flip was Hip) covers some of the details: make sure to integrate check-ins to go over problem points, and make sure to humanize the learning experience. Students aren't computers, and they don't learn well from just sitting in front of a computer screen.
