Cub Scout Pack 4 Needham

This past week, the scouts of Needham Pack 4 had a great time working together on a meaningful service project with Hope And Comfort, a Needham nonprofit dedicated to providing hygiene products to people in need.

Our scouts rotated through several assembly stations, working as a team to pack hygiene kits and help prepare supplies for distribution. The kids had a blast while learning how small acts of service can make a big difference.

Thanks to their hard work, Pack 4 packed 168 hygiene kits and helped assemble a full pallet of more than 7,500 laundry detergent sheets! These supplies will soon go out to youth and families across Massachusetts who are facing hygiene insecurity.

Hope & Comfort’s mission is to ensure sustained access to hygiene products so that children and adults can maintain their health, dignity, and confidence. In Massachusetts alone, an estimated 2.3 million people struggle to afford essential hygiene products because programs like SNAP cannot be used to purchase them.

Service is a core part of Scouting, and we are proud of our scouts for stepping up to help others in our community.
