What to do NOW (late winter / very early spring):
• Walk the property and flag hazard limbs / leaning trees (freeze-thaw + wind = surprise failures)
• Clean up beds and edges so you can actually see what needs fixing
• Plan your pre-emergent timing (this is how pros prevent w**ds instead of “chasing” them later)

Early Spring:
• First round of w**d prevention + turf feeding (don’t just mow and hope)
• Light pruning/clearance for walkways, driveways, sightlines

Late Spring:
• Mulch refresh + planting touch-ups
• Second pass w**d control where needed

Early Summer:
• Spot treat problems, keep growth controlled, and stay ahead of storm damage
