Nazareth Borough Police Department

We're proud to announce the launch of our new Drone Unit, another step forward in our commitment to providing innovative, professional, and effective public safety services.

Our new DJI Matrice 30T public safety drone was acquired through grant funding, allowing us to expand capabilities without additional cost to taxpayers. The program is operated by five FAA Part 107 certified officers who have received specialized training in the safe and lawful use of unmanned aircraft.

The drone unit is a valuable tool that can assist with search and rescue operations, missing person incidents, criminal investigations, crash and crime scene documentation, disaster response, and critical incidents.

Although the program is still new, it has already assisted in locating a person experiencing a mental health crisis, supporting neighboring agencies during suspect searches, and providing aerial support during critical incidents.

This technology enhances officer safety, improves situational awareness, and helps us respond more effectively when every second counts.

ARREST: Gross, Alysa - 2709 A1 HARASSMENT and 1 additional charge On July 1, 2026, at 1918 hours, Nazareth Police responded to a domestic in progress call in the 100 block of North Main Street. Upon arriving, officers made contact with the individuals involved and separated them for further investigation.

Before the fireworks light up the sky, we're reminded of what makes the Fourth of July so special - the people, traditions, and community that bring us together.

Today, we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, honor those who have served and sacrificed to protect them, and appreciate the neighbors, friends, and families who make Nazareth such a wonderful place to call home.
