Beginning January 1st, Grimes County will no longer have to do Vechice inspections.

State inspections go away for Texas drivers in four months, but vehicles in certain counties will still need to pass a test Drivers with cars registered in counties in the state's biggest metropolitan cities will have to get an emissions test. That includes most Houston-area drivers.
