Lately, Boston has been buzzing with excitement. The World Cup is here, kids are home from school, and many of us have the day off today. While we are all enjoying the day and partaking in the festivities, let’s not forget why we have the day off. “Understanding history is one of many ways to break the cycle. Lift up/amplify Black voices, support Black owned businesses, reach back and mentor.” If a visitor from around the world asks why we have the day off, share the story of Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery. Here at Paper Fiesta we have books for kids and carry products from Black Owned business’s. Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth
