Janine has been doing a lot of Gua Sha lately in her acupuncture practice at the clinic. Gua Sha is a scraping technique that is like getting a deep massage but faster. Janine uses a ceramic spoon to scrape tight muscles to increase blood flow and help the muscles feel more relaxed with less pain. She can do separate Gua Sha treatments, but often uses it along with acupuncture to help her patients recover from all types of physical pain and dysfunction.
