Today, we honor the life, legacy, and leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. A man who taught us that service, justice, and love are powerful tools for change.
At The Comeback Initiative, we carry forward his vision by uplifting our community, restoring hope, and creating pathways for people to rise above adversity. Dr. King reminded us that “everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” Today, we recommit ourselves to serving with compassion, purpose, and action.
Happy MLK Day. 💙✊🏾

Every journey starts somewhere. The Comeback Initiative exists to support individuals as they take their first steps toward growth, restoration, and lasting change.🤍
We’ve been quiet lately, but The Comeback Initiative is back and ready to continue making an impact. Stay tuned — big things are coming!

As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to pause and share an update.
Over the past few days, The Comeback Initiative has been quieter than usual. We haven’t held our regular care-package distributions or shared as many updates …not because the mission stopped, but because I needed time to reset, regroup, and care for my own mental and emotional wellbeing.
Leadership requires honesty, and the truth is: there can’t be a comeback for the community if the person leading it is running on empty. Taking this time allowed me to refocus, heal, and make sure I am able to serve with clarity, compassion, and strength.
As we step into the new year, I’m committed to rebuilding with intention, greater organization, and consistency. Our heart for service has not changed …if anything, it is stronger than before.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support, encourage, and believe in this work. Your patience means more than you know, and I’m grateful for every single person who walks alongside this mission.
Here’s to restoration, resilience, and the comebacks ahead.
Happy New Year. 🤍✨

Grateful.. grateful.. 🥹
Peace looks different in every city… yesterday , we were grateful to witness it up close.
Supporting the Walk of Peace was a reminder that compassion doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
The Comeback Initiative is committed to showing up for our community in every way we can — big or small.

People don’t talk about it,
but every town has that parking lot.
The one where a family sits in a car overnight with the engine off to save gas.
The one where a mom tries to let her kids sleep just a little longer because they don’t have anywhere else to go.
The one where people drive by… not knowing what to do… wishing they could help.
You don’t have to see it to know it’s real.
It’s happening in our communities too… quietly, silently, and far too often.
This is why The Comeback Initiative exists.
To catch the people life forgets.
To step in where the system falls short.
To make sure families don’t have to choose between light, warmth, and food.
If you’ve ever wished you could make a difference,
this is your chance.
