Mississippi Governor's School is now taking applications for our June 2-15, 2024 session for rising Juniors and Seniors. Mississippi Governor's School (MGS) is a residential honors program established in 1981 by Governor William F. Winter and the faculty and administration at Mississippi University for Women (The W). The Mississippi Legislature pays for Governor's School and offers a unique residential experiential learning experience at no cost to the exceptionally gifted students in our state.
