🚨 LAST CALL: Applications for the SCORE AI Innovation Fund are due Wednesday, July 8.

If you've been considering an idea for how artificial intelligence (AI) could help improve student outcomes, strengthen educator practice, or build organizational capacity, now is the time to submit your application before the July 8 deadline.

Selected applicants will receive up to $50,000 to design, implement, and pilot an AI-enabled solution over a 12-month period. In addition to funding, recipients will receive strategic support from SCORE and opportunities to collaborate with peers across Tennessee as they explore responsible, student-centered approaches to AI.

What does strong summer learning look like in Memphis? We found out first-hand during recent Summer Boost site visits at Gestalt Community Schools and Compass Community Schools in Memphis.

From small-group instruction to hands-on enrichment, we found that summer isn’t a pause — it’s an opportunity. Schools are using this time to reinforce key skills, build momentum, and create environments where students stay engaged and supported.

The State Workforce Development Board’s recent approval of Tennessee’s Workforce Pell framework policy is an important step toward expanding access to high-quality, short-term training programs that connect Tennesseans to high-skill, high-wage, and in-demand careers. SCORE is proud to have partnered with state leaders to help shape this policy.

With the state now accepting applications for eligible training programs, Tennessee is moving quickly to ensure Workforce Pell can support learners, employers, and communities across the state.
