We prayed this would be a special way to commemorate 40 years of Storms of Life, but what happened exceeded anything we could have imagined. From the packed crowd to the four overflow groups, your letters that you left in the mailbox with your stories, your love and support left us completely overwhelmed with gratitude.

Forty years later, these songs are still bringing people together, creating memories, and touching hearts across generations. Thank you for celebrating this milestone with us and for carrying this music through every season of life.

After 40 years of Storms of Life, we’re back where it all began.

Before the awards, the records, and the sold-out shows, “Randy Traywick” was working as a cook and dishwasher at The Nashville Palace in the early 1980s. By day, he fried catfish in the kitchen. By night, he took the stage as “Randy Ray,” chasing a dream that would change country music forever.

Tonight, we’re honored to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Storms of Life with the ribbon cutting of The Randy Travis Room at The Nashville Palace—a place that holds a special chapter in Randy’s story.

From the kitchen to the stage, from Randy Ray to Randy Travis, what a journey it’s been. Here’s to the people, places, and songs that helped make it all possible. ❤️
