When I picked up a guitar, I just started playing these 3 chords and it felt like a cool energy. In this example it really shows the DRV MOD 2 at zero gain. It’s noticeably different than the stock version in this setting. It adds a little gain, a little midrange grit, and a little bit of that clipping sparkle that we all love. If you really lay into it, you can hear it get fairly distorted, which I think is a very unique sound, and very cool. But really you can strum pretty freely and not get into distortion at all. From here I just kinda go through some different settings, but it is so cool to hear the gain k**b go up and you can feel the thickness of the sound. It feels massive. A really fun mod and some really nice and useable sounds!

I’ve always thought that the most unique sound in the DRV is that spot where preamp meets distortion, rather that preamp meeting low gain overdrive. And while this one is a little different feel, it sounds cool!
