What is one of the greatest qualities you appreciate in a leader?

Too many of those aren't telling the whole story - or the REAL story - of entrepreneurship.

Everyone wants to tout making millions in months..

But the reality for most coaches, entrepreneurs and business owners is a much different track.

It looks more like these 5 things than overnight success.
‌
I've learned these after YEARS of trial and error, lots of long days and sleepless nights, and plenty of tears.
‌
Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Stay the course - YOUR COURSE - and build your dream.
‌
‌
𝟭. 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿.
‌
Your first attempt might not work (likely won’t!). Accept this fact early on, swallow your pride, and move through it decisively and quickly.
‌
‌
𝟮. 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆.
‌
I changed my brand, logo, colors, programs, niche, avatar more times than I can count. Not for the heck of it. I was refining, adapting and iterating. Each micro step brought clarity.
‌
‌
𝟯. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿.
‌
Every setback is a setup for a comeback. It may sound cheesy, but it’s true. Resilience is seriously my super power and every entrepreneur needs to develop this or they won’t make it.
‌
‌
𝟰. 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀.
‌
Ugh. I hated that phrase. And now I’m giving it on you. But listen up - growth takes time. Too many give up way too soon because the growth seems so small and insignificant. But every step forward, while small, is still forward.
‌
‌
𝟱. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.
‌
Authenticity attracts the right clients. If you’re trying to be everyone else you’ll attract all the wrong people - or no people at all. This one thing ☝️ has truly revolutionized my business.
‌
‌
Nothings been harder than trying to discover ME, stay true to ME, and put blinders on and…
‌
just. be. ME.
‌
‌

I know what it's like to want to fix your marriage.

What shifted every area of my life was when I started focusing all of my effort and energy on 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱𝘴.
‌
👉Starting with the one I had with myself.
‌
𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.

How you relate to God flows from how you relate to yourself. (There’s a lot to unpack in that statement. I’ll save that one for later!)
‌
