FINISH GRADE EXCAVATOR OPERATOR for Labelle, FL

We are looking for a qualified finish grade long reach excavator operator with GPS experience. All applicants must have the minimum requirements listed below.

JOB SUMMARY:
Construction equipment operators drive, maneuver, or control the heavy machinery used to construct roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures. Specialize in installation, removal and repair of infrastructure, including weirs, culverts, water control structures, boat ramps, locks and bridges on District waterways, canals, and levees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years' experience
Finish grade long reach excavator experience with Trimble GPS preferred
OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
Drug free workplace
Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees
The ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Maintain constant awareness of the job site's various concurrent activities, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment
Continuous mental and visual attention required to complete tasks in efficient manner involving repetitive or diversified work requiring alertness of activity. Working conditions will consist of exposure to grease, noise, dust, and dirt of the construction project.
