Several Rising Tide Explorers staff members and RTE alumni recently attended the annual Corkscrew Watershed Science Forum earlier this month, a regional gathering of environmental professionals dedicated to protecting Southwest Florida’s natural resources. 🌎🌿

Hosted at the UF/IFAS Extension in Collier County, the forum brought together scientists, researchers, conservation leaders, and land managers to share the latest research and discuss critical issues impacting our ecosystems. Topics included water restoration in the Corkscrew Watershed, prescribed fire management, ghost orchid conservation, frog population declines, invasive species, Florida panthers, and the future of wetlands in our rapidly developing region.
