Compassion For Cuba

My dear friend Leo was a pediatric intern in Cuba last year. He approached me and asked if I could help him get out of Cuba to Uruguay because if he took his final exam in Cuba they would take his passport and he'd be stuck there forever. I got together with a few people and we with God's help made it happen. Yesterday he took his exam and is now a general practitioner in Uruguay!! Congratulations to Dr Leo Freeman. God is good!!

Last weekend about 4 of us got together and put together a yard sale. We made enough to fly 55 lbs of packets of tuna, chicken, salmon and crab. These packs are vacuum packed so no refrigeration needed. As you might know the Cubans dont have electricity most of the day so they need to have things to eat that doesnt need to be put in the fridge. Also high protein food is a plus.
