Thank you to the Collier County Public Library Estates Branch Library for inviting us to their Summer Reading Kickoff! πŸ“šπŸš’

The Engine 71 crew had a blast showing kids the fire engine, our gear, and even spraying a little water from the hose. We’re proud to support programs that help foster a love of reading and learning in our community.

School’s out for summer, Collier County! β˜€οΈπŸŽ‰

We’ve had a blast helping celebrate the end of the school year with lots of spray downs across the community these past few weeks, and today officially marks the last day of school! Seeing all the smiling faces and excited kids has been the perfect way to kick off summer break. πŸš’πŸ’¦

As everyone heads into summer fun mode, here are a few important safety reminders for kids and families:

πŸ’§ Never swim alone and always keep a close eye on children around water β€” even strong swimmers.
πŸ›Ÿ Wear properly fitted life jackets when boating or around open water.
🚲 Helmets should always be worn when riding bikes, scooters, skateboards, or anything with wheels.
🚦 Stay alert around traffic, even when riding or walking on sidewalks. Drivers may not always see you.
🚸 Be extra careful at intersections and always look both ways before crossing the street.
β˜€οΈ Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks from the heat.

Have an amazing, safe, and fun summer, Collier County! 😎🌴
