What’s better than a day at Physicians Regional? A day at Physicians Regional… WITH DOGS. 🐶💉✨

Our interns got to enjoy a paw‑sitively unforgettable experience with support animals, and the joy was REAL. From belly rubs to puppy kisses, these furry friends brought comfort, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. 🐾❤️

But this wasn’t just a cute moment.
It was a powerful lesson in holistic care.

Support animals help reduce anxiety, improve communication, and create a calmer environment....all essential skills for future healthcare professionals. This hands‑on experience nurtures the internship journey by teaching interns how emotional support plays a vital role in patient well‑being. 🌿🩺

And yes… we have about 400 adorable photos. 😄📸

OFF THEY GO, Y’ALL! 🚀🎓💙

On the FINAL day of our 2026 Summer Bootcamp, we officially said bon voyage (for now!) to our incoming freshman class and trust us… they went out with a BANG. 💥😎

We kicked things off with “Who’s Smarter Than a High Schooler?”....and listen… the COMPETITION was spicy. 🌶️📚
Trash talk? ✔️
Bragging rights? ✔️
Plot twist? ALWAYS. 😂

Then came the session everyone was waiting for: FINANCIAL LITERACY with Diego Zambrano 💸🧠
These kids were locked in like it was the season finale of their favorite show. Eyes wide. Pens flying. Futures being secured in real time. 💼✨

After lunch, our PSCS student panel — Esmeralda, Micaela, and Daisy, dropped wisdom like confetti. 🎤💡
Daisy even walked them through class scheduling like the academic fairy godmother she is. 🪄📅

And then… the grand finale…
🍦 ICE. CREAM. SOCIAL. 🍦
Instant fan favorite. Zero surprise. Maximum joy. 😄💙

It was bittersweet saying goodbye, but these students walked out more confident, more prepared, and READY for what’s ahead.

Freshmen… you’re up. GO MAKE WAVES. 🌊🚀

STOP SCROLLING! THIS IS WHAT REAL COLLEGE PREP LOOKS LIKE.🚀💛

Day 2 of our Summer Postsecondary Bootcamp voyage kept the momentum going with a powerful focus on Campus & Personal Safety, Healthy Living, and Mental Health, the essentials every student needs before stepping into college life.

We kicked off the morning with an intense (and slightly chaotic) game of Jeopardy led by Daisy Carranza. Let’s just say the scorekeeping was… creative, which sparked a hilarious back‑and‑forth between teams trying to prove who was actually smarter than a 6th grader 😄📚

Then we moved into our first workshop:
Healthy Living & Nutrition for College, presented by Foundation alum Benjamin Lucio. Students learned how to make healthier choices, plan meals, and build habits that will keep them energized and grounded throughout their college journey.

Next up, Coach Roy Porter brought the fire with a self‑defense session focused on awareness, personal safety, and practical strategies students can use to protect themselves in real‑world situations. The energy was unmatched. 💥🛡️

After lunch, we closed the day with Mental Health & Stress Management led by Andrea Denton from David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health. Students explored how to manage stress, stay emotionally balanced, and prioritize their mental well‑being, skills that matter just as much as academics.

This is what preparation looks like.
This is how confidence is built.
This is how students walk into college ready. 🌟
