I sent my mom this song “Hold On You” by Valley Queen while I was in Thailand. Every lyric felt like it was holding the weight of what I couldn’t say out loud. I didn’t know if it would be her last days… I just knew I needed her to hear it.
I’m not sure if she ever did.
But this song still says what I felt.
