There’s no service in the hills.

A wise man told me to word my thoughts differently.

Instead of saying “ I have to go to work today “ “ I have to do this today ”

Start saying “ I get to go to work today “ “ I get to do these things today “

It made me realize I need to be more appreciative of my opportunities and the life I’ve created for myself. When I broke my ankle, I never took for granted again the ability to just walk without having to ride on a one legged scooter everywhere or limp around with overpriced crutches.

Same thing with work. I remember when I was struggling and I had maybe 2 clients and I was just thankful to have them so I could buy groceries or pay my rent. When I got busier I found myself complaining that I was to busy, that I had to edit multiple videos and film the same day. I’m like why the f**k would I complain about being busy? Instead I needed to be thankful I was busy.

It’s a mindset. Be grateful. Be appreciative. Never take anything in life for granted.
