Naples Sail and Power Squadron
All boat operators in Florida born after January 1st, 1988 must have completed a boater safety eductions course. Florida residents will receive a Florida Safe Boating Certificate upon completion of the course. The Naples Sail and Power Squadron is offering a Boating Safety Class that will allow you to meet this education requirement and become a boat operator in Florida.
The class will be held Saturday, Feb. 17th and Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024. The fee for books and materials for the class is $50 payable by cash or check to the Naples Sail and Power Squadron the first day of class. Class will begin at 9:00 am on each day and last for 3 hours. After completing the class, a separate on-the-water training cruise will be offered at a different day and is included in the fee.
The classes will be held at the Naples Sail and Power Squadron Training Center, 297 Airport-Pulling Road N. (inside the strip mall that contains Salvia Tile and Stone).

On Wednesday, November 15th at 9:00 am we will hold a Cooperative Charting Cruise to assess the local aids to navigation and any hazards to navigation.
