Letters to the editor for Saturday, December 23, 2023 Our readers share their opinions on a variety of topics

1500 students, no buses, Sports stadium, 100,000 square foot commercial structure, 130 staff members, giant asphalt parking lot.

Collier County needs schools near Corkscrew and Palmetto Ridge, not on 7th Ave NW, we have 6 within a 5-minute drive of 7th Ave NW.
We have wells and septic systems here...1500 kids flushing all day long. 1,000 cars in the morning and 1,000 cars in the afternoon dumping on to Vanderbilt Beach Dr.
Did I mention Mason Classical Academy wants to put all of this next to live, legal gun range?
Can anyone come up with a good reason to ignore all of this and still bulldoze this neighborhood?

Thank you to everyone that showed up to demonstrate at Mason Classical Academy this afternoon. Our peaceful demonstration caught the eyes many today. Santa Wolf talked to a lot of MCA parents about what has been going on with the plan to rezone or residential lots and to place a school next to a legal firing range.
