Thank you to all who joined KidsMatter at the Naperville Park District’s 19th Annual Kite Fly! KidsMatter was excited to once again present Games from Around the World, allowing young people and families to learn about different cultures around the world through the games that children play. It was a fun-filled afternoon of learning, connection, and community. 🪁

We are also so thankful for the amazing organizations that joined us, representing countries from around the world and providing fun, educational games based on each country of origin: ALMAS - Alliance of Latinos Motivating Action in the Suburbs, DuPage Hispanic Alliance, Indian Community Outreach, Institute for Diplomacy and Cultural Exchange, KidsMatter Senior High Board, Naper Settlement, Naperville Sister Cities Commission, and West Suburban Irish.

Games from Around the World is sponsored in part by a SECA grant from the City of Naperville, Illinois, Government with support from the Naperville Park District and the KidsMatter Senior High Board.

What a great way to kick off summer! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our School’s Out Fundraiser at Lou Malnati’s.

We enjoyed delicious pizza and amazing musical performances from Naperville-area students, all while raising funds for our KidsMatter programs! Shoutout to our musical performers Amatons NFP, Metea Valley Muses, a Jazz Combo featuring North Central College and Naperville North High School students, Alexander J. Amato, piano, and Neuqua Valley High School To Be Natural for their amazing performances.

KidsMatter was honored to once again present “Games from Around the World,” marking the fifth consecutive year that young people and families have had the opportunity to learn about different cultures through the games children play across the world. It was inspiring to see our community come together to celebrate diversity, curiosity, and the universal language of play.
