Gibson Files for Bankruptcy in Deal to Renew Guitar Business Gibson Brands Inc. filed for bankruptcy with a turnaround plan that gives some of the company’s lenders equity ownership of the iconic American business that’s supplied guitars to B.B. King, Elvis Presley and Pete Townshend.

Please note that I am now retired and no longer giving guitar lessons. I am playing a lot of guitar , mandolin and banjo. And I am learning to play old time fiddle. I'm having a great time.
