Well, it was on March 11th that I saw my last client in Naperville because of the virus that has most of us shut down or in with or without those we love. I am "seeing" clients through my computer and talking with clients by telephone. Like so many businesses and practices I'm now applying for my SBA loan and awaiting my Federal stimulus check. We're all in this together. This sidewalk art was done by a neighborhood child and complements "courage" during the times we have of enforced "togetherness." A noted marital researcher who watched couples deal with their differences behind a one way mirror, over many years, found that the most successful marriages exist on a strong component of kindness in dealing with differences. Some people are so naturally kind, but some of us have had to learn, over the years, how to do it "well enough." As we may know, assertiveness has always been important to getting what we want, but kindness helps soften the life we have together. The child who did this sidewalk art just knew that even dragons have a heart.
