Our Lincoln Park project began with a client who genuinely loves design. She was drawn to timeless, classic pieces with just enough contemporary influence, antiques, and beautiful architecture. From the moment we met, we knew she was an immediate fit. Our role wasn’t to define her style, but to give it direction, bringing together everything she loved into a home where the architecture, furnishings, and custom details spoke the same language.

Nearly every piece in this brownstone was either custom made or sourced from an antique dealer, and every selection also had to navigate a very practical reality: fitting through the front door and making its way up three flights of stairs. It’s those behind-the-scenes considerations that allow everything to feel so effortless on installation day.

This project brought me back to my early years in design, and reminded me how much I love projects in the city! They challenge us to think beyond the expected, where creative solutions, strategic space planning, and custom design become inseparable from the beauty of the finished home.
