A new Congressional report released last week urges the FDA to act on the unregulated e-cigarette industry, especially the shameful efforts made by manufacturers to market their products to young people. Without uniform age restrictions or warning labels, teenagers are being given the impression these ni****ne delivery systems are harmless.

Even casually smoking ma*****na can change your brain, study says 04/16/2014

You may believe that it makes little sense to incarcerate people for years for ma*****na possession or use. But it makes even less sense to assume that, because pot is a "natural" substance, its occasional use is harmless, any more than smoking just a few ci******es is harmless.

Hard to believe these powerful neurotoxins are unregulated. When they come in bright colors and in flavors like chocolate, bubble gum, and cherry, “It’s not a matter of if a child will be seriously poisoned or killed,” said Lee Cantrell, director of the San Diego division of the California Poison Control System and a professor of pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco. “It’s a matter of when.”

Selling a Poison by the Barrel: Liquid Ni****ne for E-Cigarettes “E-liquids” used to refill e-ci******es are potent, unregulated neurotoxins. Evidence of the potential dangers is already emerging.

Yesterday, March 13, we celebrated the graduation of four brave young people from our treatment program! Graduation is always Wolfe’s happiest, most uplifting event. The crowd was standing room only as their counselors introduced the students one by one, talking proudly about their achievements. Cathy Dominguez, a recent graduate of Adult Drug Court and honored guest, spoke about her own struggles and praised the strength and determination of the clean and sober graduates. Retired Judge Raymond Guadagni gave the keynote address. Family, friends, Wolfe Center staff, county employees, and Napa dignitaries mingled after the ceremony to enjoy cake and bask in the joy of the moment. We send our heartiest congratulations to the graduates, who at this young age have already shown such courage in taking charge of their lives.
