POV: You get to welcome your little sister to her very first day at your school Nantucket Lighthouse School ! Truly, the best (and hardest) part of parenting is watching them grow. So many parents are feeling that this week! 🥹

This is a whole new adventure for all of us, at this magical little school 30 miles out to sea. We feel so lucky to be part of a community dedicated to raising the kind of humans the world truly needs.

Endless gratitude to the gifted & dedicated staff, committed board members, and generous donors who make this extraordinary education possible for so many island families! 💛✨

As 2023 comes to an end, we begin our next adventure of carefully crafting weddings we had the privilege of capturing this fall, each unique, like every couple! To each one of you who chose & trusted us to capture the biggest moments in your family's history, we are grateful.
There is a world out there with the most incredibly talented storytellings & you felt connected to us ✨

To our team of filmmakers, drone operators & production assistants, we thank you for the huge role you had in ensuring no moment was missed, without you, we can’t bear to think about the visual memories that could have gone uncaptured.

To the photographers we had the honor of working with, we thank you for the incredible amount of pre-production & dedication you put into every wedding & for creating a welcoming environment for us to join & collaborate. You make us better, always ✨

To the wedding planners… there is just no world in which we would be able to capture the absolute magic you see in this reel if it wasn’t for your recommendations of Yellow, your stamp of approval means a great deal to us & we are honored to share this space. The years/months/weeks of preparation & dedication you pour into each wedding, allow us to solely focus on our job. We will forever be grateful.

The best man, Kyle, said it best & we couldn't agree more, "Marriage isn't hard when you have the right person by your side!". When he spoke those words, Chris and I looked at each other from across the room and we were both tearing up, we have always felt that way about our marriage. We never agreed when people told us "Marriage is hard"! Love is the best, when it's with the right person and Sabrina and Gaven were always meant to be together!

It's hard to find a starting point to how special it was to create this film for Sabrina + Gaven. These two natives are heartbeats of our little Nantucket community (if you haven't eaten at their restaurant Keepers, you're missing out) but it was in 2011 when I (Laura) first met Sabrina, after her Dad Mark hired me to work in the famous Fog Island Cafe while I was working summers in between college in Ireland. At the time, Sabrina was a host and waitress queen but so very young. Watching and filming her getting married keeps stopping me in my tracks. She has always been so kind and thoughtful and she has never changed. Seeing how happy she is and how much she is loved, it's incredible! It's wild how life works sometimes and it was an internship with Gaven's company that led to their romance. Who knew when they first connected that it would end up in this movie like relationship and the island's most incredible restaurant: Keepers. Gaven couldn't be anymore perfect for Sabrina. He is so hard working & kind and he LOVES her, the way he looked at her as she walked towards him at the ceremony, grab the Klennex, it's something every girl dreams of.. He LOVES her and from everything we learned from the speeches on the night and our little chat with her on the morning of her wedding, he always goes above and beyond for her. Gaven first reached out to give the gift of a wedding film by us to Sabrina for Christmas. It's those special surprises that make us confident in knowing they are going to have an exciting and fun future ahead.
Then, there is Sabrina's brother, Andrew, who interned with us through the pandemic and filmed weddings with us the summer after. It was hard not to ask him to grab a camera and capture the magic (he offered too ha) , but so cool to see him on the other side of the lens smiling at his sister's happiness!
Sabrina and Gaven, we are SO happy for you both and we couldn't be anymore grateful that you wanted us to create your wedding film. It was a lot of trust to put in us and we will forever be honored
