Option to join via Zoom (link below). Nantucket, this is a chance to speak directly to town officials about the impact of Vineyard Wind and the continued development of our oceans.

SouthCoast Wind will be the next lease in our area to begin the development of their wind farm. SouthCoast Wind LLC is owned by Ocean Winds, a 50-50 joint venture between the companies' EDP Renewables (from Portugal) and ENGIE (from France). Initially, SouthCoast Wind was a joint venture between Ocean Winds and Shell New Energies, but in early 2024, Ocean Winds acquired full ownership after Shell decided to step back from the project.
