✨ Walk Down Memory Lane: 2006–2008 ✨
The years 2006–2008 were filled with celebration, adventure, and memories that continue to connect generations of EhCapa riders.
In 2006, EhCapa proudly celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Riders, alumni, families, and supporters gathered in Star, Idaho, for a special reunion weekend that included a performance, dinner, auction, historical displays, and time to reconnect with old friends. It was a chance to reflect on five decades of tradition while looking ahead to the future of the club.
That year's royalty court included Queen Sarah S***z, Princess Rachel Jenkins, Honored Brave Lee Canegaly, and Mini Princess Hanna Goff. The team performed at the Idaho Horse Expo, Snake River Stampede, Malheur County Rodeo in Ontario, Oregon, Wagon Days in Ketchum, and Senior Pro Rodeo Council events. A promotional video was also created to help share the EhCapa story.
Beyond the arena, riders spent time making bells, celebrating at Halloween and Christmas parties, and supporting the club through the annual Playday fundraiser. These moments together often became just as memorable as the performances themselves.
In 2007, Queen Jenna Greenwood, Princess Catherine Strack, and Mini Princess Echo Lauren represented the club. While very little documented history from that year remains, the friendships, laughter, road trips, and memories made by riders and families continue to live on.
The tradition continued in 2008 with Queen Alyssa Adams, Princess Dani Peterson, and Mini Princess McKenna Little. Through practices, performances, and travel, riders learned teamwork, confidence, responsibility, and perseverance—lessons that would stay with them long after their riding days ended.
As alumna Jenna Vega shared, "Everything about EhCapa was beyond words. I am so thankful for my parents and the dedication they had to my siblings and I, giving us the opportunities to make memories, friendships, and explore the United States and Canada. 'Oh, the Places You'll Go' is a great theme for EhCapa. I was able to see places and rodeos I would have never been able to see without this great club."

Walk Down Memory Lane: 2002–2003
The 2002–2003 seasons were filled with miles on the road, strong leadership in the arena, and traditions that kept our team connected wherever we traveled. With 36 riders in 2002, EhCapa continued performing across the West. We even went as far as Ohio.
In 2002, our riders were interviewed by Jeff Miller on the news, bringing attention to the discipline and teamwork behind synchronized ba****ck riding and sharing the EhCapa story with a wider audience.
Our royalty proudly represented the club during these seasons:
2002 Royalty
Queen Beth Ferrell
Princess Kaycee Greenwood
Honored Brave Caleb Sutherland
Mini Princess Jessika Ratliff
2003 Royalty
Queen Emily Hessing
Princess Sarah S***z
Mini Princess Hailey Camp
Our riders were guided by Instructor Brandi Horsley, with Assistant Instructors Heather Esponito and Chris Nichols, whose leadership helped shape both the performances and the confidence of the team.
Support from our community continued to make these seasons possible, including sponsorship from Pacific Republic Mortgage and RE/MAX in 2002, and Magic Valley Bank in 2003.
And just as important as the performances were the moments between them. Papa breakfasts on trips, youth board games, and exploring the towns we visited together. Those traditions remain some of the strongest memories from these years and continue to define the EhCapa experience.
From Idaho arenas to cross-country travel, the 2002–2003 riders carried the spirit of EhCapa forward.
