Psalm 34, part 2!? Yes, please. Do you believe that God is with you in your hurt? It's hard to fathom this truth sometimes. As God's beloved, we are reassured in times of trouble + strife that not only is He near to those with broken hearts, but He saves us - the crushed in spirit. Scripture is full of stories, time + time again, of God showing up for His people in beautiful ways. Hagar in the wilderness, Hannah with Samuel, Elijah in a cave, Jesus in a garden, the list goes on + on. "The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and His ears toward their cry." -v. 15

May this be a great reminder for us to run to the God of David who is our great fortress + refuge. Let El Roi comfort you today.
