SC has specific laws regarding golf carts:
-drivers must be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid driver's license
-golf carts may only be operated during daylight hours and within 4 miles of the driver's residence or place of business.
-the carts must be registered with the DMV and insured if driven on public roads.
