At 118 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Boiling Spring Lakes, or near Snows Cut. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, South Masonboro Island, Snows Cut, North
Masonboro Island, Boiling Spring Lakes, Mill Creek, Myrtle Grove, Sea
Breeze, Masonboro, Silver Lake, and Bolivia.

Another round of pop up storms is possible today, mainly from i95 East to the coast. Just like yesterday, not everyone will see storms however, today is the better chance for one to fire off along the sea breeze boundary as it moves inland.
As always, we will be watching the radar closely.
Please make sure to like, follow, and set your notifications so you receive alerts the second they are issued by the National Weather Service.
