People often ask me how long it takes to create one of my slate snowman ornaments. It's question I don't really have an answer for as I work on several at one time, going through a series of steps. So here is a look at the process with captions under each photo explaining what is happening in each step.

Sol's in Berlin is a huge craft mall in Berlin, Ohio, in the heart of Amish Country. It consists of 3 buildings full of arts and crafts booths. I have had a booth there in the Exchange Building for over 10 years and I do quite well with sales. $40 each for the caps & footballs, $12.00 each for the ornaments.

For those who may not know, it is the SC state flag, SC state bird(Carolina Wren) and the SC state flower(Yellow Jessamine).
