Sad day today. Said goodbye to the store . Had a auction to sell off everything in the store. ( even Tracy's food in her locker) Looking forward to our new stress free life.

We are having a great long weekend at the beach with the grandkids. It's nice we don't have to leave to go to work!

First day of retirement what to do, what to do! Sleep all day, mow the lawn, eat or just try to drive Donna crazy !

"We fought the landlord and the landlord won!" Bill's Hometown hardware will be closing Sat. Aug 25 for good! We would like to thank everybody for there prays and support through our tough times. We gave it all we had blood, sweat,tears and money. We are now walking away and going to try to put some kind of life back together . New place to live and a new job. We had hoped for a big save at the end like"It's a wounderful life " movie but it did not come. Please support your local small business in your town. WEEKEND PROJECT: Recaulk the bathroom: If the caulk in your bathroom is looking digy, discolored, or cracked, it's time to remove it and start fresh. Weather it's around your sink, bathtub or shower, old caulk can grow mildew and cause damage by leaking water especially between the tub and bathroom floor. Remove the old caulk, clean the space well, and replace it with new layer. A good caulk seal will last up to 10 years.

How to store your extra paint: Keep air out of the paint container. To accomplish this, add a gasket between the can using a circle cut from a heavy trash can bag. Spray with vegetable oil on one sied of bag and set it on the can with the lid on top of plastic. Tap lid in place. Store can upside down in a room free from temperture extrems.

We had a great day for Hope House! We raised $400 and hope to raise more over the weekend. Bill enjoyed the hot dogs ! Then we saw great fireworks at the beach.
