This week, students in the Networking Major delved into the fascinating world of Copper Cable and its requirements. They gained a clear understanding of the various types of cables and connectors, as well as the appropriate type for different solutions. Students were given the opportunity to apply their knowledge and put their hands-on skills to the test. Using industry tools, they practiced creating and testing Twisted Pair Cat5e T568B Straight-Through and T568A Crossover cables, all while adhering to industry standards.
