Second opinions.
Late night research.

Speaking up when it’s uncomfortable, asking the hard questions….whatever it takes. I will walk to the ends of the earth and back making sure my babies are okay.

Because no one knows my child like I do.
No one loves them like I do.
And no one will fight for them like I will.

My kids get unlimited screen time.
No, that doesn’t mean they’re glued to a tablet 24/7.
It doesnt mean theyre unsupervised.
It doesn’t mean they never touch grass or forget what the sun looks like.
It means I trust them.
It means I’m not turning screens into forbidden fruit.

Because here’s what actually happens when you stop micromanaging it:
They still choose to go outside.
They build forts. They ride bikes. They dig holes for no reason.
They still want to bake cookies, paint pictures, go to the beach.
They don’t sit motionless in front of a screen for 12 hours straight
just because they can.
(Shocking, I know.)

Screens are just one tool in their world,
not the only one.
The moment I stopped making it a battle,
they stopped making it a fixation.

I’m raising kids who know how to self-regulate.
not just follow rules out of fear.
And that starts with giving them the chance to practice balance,
not just be forced into it. No this wont work for every child, but it works perfectly for us.
