What an absolutely incredible day on the water. One that will definitely go down in the record books!

We kicked things off by landing the biggest Spanish mackerel of the year on the MIFC leaderboard, tipping the scales at just over 6.5 pounds! Just a few minutes later, the reels were screaming again with a 27lb king mackerel. The bite was absolutely on fire and honestly reminded me of the good old days when the fish just wouldn’t stop biting.

As if that wasn’t enough, we mixed it up with a few hard-fighting barracuda, then capped off an unforgettable trip in the afternoon with a 25lb cobia and a beautiful 5.5lb Redfish thanks to the new regulations!

From the first cast to the last, it was one of those rare days that every captain hopes for. Great people, nonstop action, and memories that will last a lifetime.
