There are a large number of children in and around Myrtle Beach that only eat when they are at school.

Backpack Buddies sends food home on Fridays so they have something to eat on the weekends during the school year.

The organization also will set up pick up and delivery days and times to get food to the kids during the summer months so they do not go hungry.

Backpack Buddies' food supply is getting dangerously low.

Coastal Chapter of SCMGMA will be collecting donations of food items to fill backpacks for the Backpack Buddies program here in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Please visit https://www.help4kidssc.org/ for a list of food items they are looking for. There are also other ways to donate whether it be monetary donation or clothing and shoes.
