Murray Police Department
Update all roadways are open and clear.
Parts of 16th Street, Diuguid, and Poor Farm Road are currently blocked off due to flooding in the area. Officers are currently blocking areas of these roads off. The Murray road department has been notified and is working on getting the issue resolved. As always please drive safely!
Around 6/19/2026, the Murray Police Department began to investigate reports of vandalism around the southwest side of Murray. Most of the vandalism was related to damaging mailboxes and vehicles. Officers were able to identify both individuals involved. As a result of that investigation, two juveniles have been charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree.
The Murray Police Department would like to remind everyone that any person charged with a criminal offense is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Murray Police Department is asking residents to check their video camera footage around their residences to see if they have any footage showing an individual or individuals walking around at night time that may be causing damage to mailboxes and/or vehicles. The subjects may be carrying a bat or other similar object. Incidents of vandalism may have started around 6/18/2026 and have continued in other areas around Murray especially on the southwest side of town.
