Every business, regardless of industry, should view themselves as a media company. One of the greatest advantages to being in business at this time in history, is the ability to easily create and distribute content.

Why does content matter?

For starters, content creates authority. There are a lot of people out there claiming to be experts in various fields. Content is one way that you can show that you actually are an expert in your field.

Second, content builds trust. Since someone is constantly trying to get us to buy something, most of us live in a state of overwhelm. We don't know who to believe and we don't know who to trust. By creating content that addresses the concerns and fears of your potential customers, you are building trust and greatly increasing the odds that they will do business with you.
