Summer service opportunities with pay - perfect for students!!!!

One of the hats I wear in the community is Project Manager for Recycle Right TN, a regional initiative working to strengthen and simplify recycling efforts across Rutherford, Coffee, Cannon, and Warren counties, with the long-term goal of statewide implementation.

This summer, we are partnering with Rutherford County, the City of Murfreesboro, and community organizations such as Main Street to promote recycling awareness and connect residents with local recycling opportunities through festivals, public events, and community outreach activities.

We are currently seeking students and campus organizations interested in participating in these community engagement efforts by helping staff informational booths and interact with the public at local events throughout the summer.

While our mission focuses on recycling and sustainability, the experience also offers opportunities in public service, communications, leadership, marketing, networking, and event coordination. It may also provide valuable volunteer and résumé-building experience for participating students.

We would greatly appreciate any assistance in sharing this opportunity with student organizations, departments, or groups that may have an interest in community involvement and outreach, regardless of their primary focus or field of study.
