Working on a project for a new customer and wanted to share.

The first image is the file provided by the customer. The second is a scan from the software that came bundled with the Cricut I bought for comic book shows. The third is the scan using the software that runs my commercial plotter.

This is one big reason why a hobby machine will never compare to a precision commercial machine. The image in the middle is a $300 cash outlay. The image on the right is a $3000 cash outlay.

So yes, the hobbyist with the Cricut can do it cheaper. But you get what you pay for.
