Make your way downtown this week to see the mural up on the side of Shacklett's Photography
New downtown Murfreesboro mural created by 650 painted tiles to honor America - Main Street Media of Tennessee Murfreesboro’s newest public artwork cannot be credited to just one artist, but instead to the community. Over the past several weeks, hundreds of community members of all ages came together to paint individual tiles that now form "The Patriot's Flag," a permanent mural mosaic celebrating America's 250th anniversary. This collaborative public art project represents the creativity, patriotism, and community spirit that make Murfreesboro so special.
The completed mural is now proudly displayed on the side of Shacklett's Photography in downtown Murfreesboro, serving as a lasting reminder of what can be accomplished when a community creates something together.
