Congratulations to our Fall 2025 graduates!!

MTeach is saddened by the loss of one of our dear alumni. Huijuk was a staple in the MTeach office during her student days and even served as a mentor teacher for students who came through MTeach after her. We will never forget her smile, her generosity, her kindness, or her home cooked Korean food. She was why we started Taste of Home which morphed into our current Friendsgiving tradition. She was everything we want our alumni to be and more. We will miss her as will the many math students whose lives she touched.

Smyrna High School agriculture teacher Jake Duke has been named to the National FFA Organization’s new cohort of National Teacher Ambassadors for the 2025-2026 school year. 🎉

The cohort consists of 65 educators from 28 states. Duke is one of four selected from Tennessee.

“The National Teacher Ambassadors for FFA help inspire our next generation of leaders by engaging with agriculture educators, state and national FFA staff to further the innovation and passion that they bring to life in their classrooms across the country, said Ambra Tennery, director of educational programs in the program and events division for FFA. “Their commitment empowers students and also strengthens local and statewide communities to ensure the future of agriculture will be bright.”

Duke and fellow teacher ambassadors will serve as a resource for more than 13,000 educators by leading, mentoring and training them programs such as webinars and workshops. Ambassadors also provide feedback to National FFA leadership about the evolving educational landscape based on their own experiences.
