Jacob was diagnosed with alopecia when he was in 4th grade after noticing large clumps of hair scattered throughout his house. After a long journey with doctors and medications, he found NAAF. Jacob shared,

“NAAF has really helped me. I connected with people who went through the same things I went through.”

Jacob is participating in the Walk For Alopecia so he can help others who also have alopecia. He said,

“The Walk For Alopecia is important to me because it’s a way for me to spread awareness for people dealing with the same issues as me.”
