We had another tournament win this weekend at the 5th annual Premier Amateur Scratch tournament at smyrna. After 8 games I made the top 12 cut in 5th, 98 back from first. I found 4 more games in me and worked my way to the top. Threw the ole trusty obsession tour most of the day:

We all love an end of the year points list, but sometimes they only tell the story of how many tournaments you showed up to. We end up with 50 points from one tour, 15 from another, and 500 from another, but what story could they actually tell? We've been working on a ranking system that aims to reward quality over quantity, but winning only one tournament won't keep you on top. The system weighs the size and the complexity of each event against your final standing.

Our want is to give ourselves, and all who participate, an extra goal to be bowling for this season (and who doesn't love a leaderboard). For season 1 we'll be following along side the McCorvey's Bowling World Scratch Tour . We want all participants to bowl at least 1 of their events as they will be weighted as top complexity events. We'll be taking all events results starting NOW until the end of their season, the last stop being on 8/31/2025.
