What a powerful Sunday together, Crossbridge family!

This week we continued our Hero’s Journey: David series and looked at what it means to become the person God is shaping us to be.

THE BIG IDEA:
✨ To be heroic, you have to follow the true Hero of your story.

When we face obstacles, hardships, and giants, we often find ourselves slipping into one of two roles: the victim or the villain. But God invites us into a different story — one where Jesus remains the true Hero, and we follow Him with faith, courage, and obedience.

THIS WEEK’S NEXT STEPS:
1️⃣ Be honest about the role you tend to default to: victim or villain.
2️⃣ Keep Jesus at the center — He is the Hero of your story.
3️⃣ The next time you face a giant, choose the hero’s path: trust God, follow Him, and walk in faith.

🙏 A PRAYER FOR A HEROIC HEART
Lord, help me to see the obstacles, hardships, and giants in front of me each day, and trust that You are with me — so much so that I believe You have already won the battle.
Help me to carry love, compassion, holiness, and steadfast obedience as my weapons. Help me see the faithful work You have done in my life as evidence that You are the same God today and every day.
Amen.
