We could not have been happier to celebrate with Nyisha Ruffin this week as we gathered for her house dedication!

It has been such an honor for our organization to walk alongside Nyisha over the past few years as she worked hard to become mortgage ready. Her dedication and perseverance have truly paid off, and we could not be more proud of her and excited for her family as they begin this new chapter.

Nyisha purchased Urban Light Community Development’s very first housing renovation project in the Industry Neighborhood — a meaningful milestone for both her family and our organization.

We are committed to continued housing revitalization in the Industry Neighborhood and look forward to restoring many more homes in the years to come. 🩵🧡💚
