Whiskers In Need

Update: Sunniva is hanging in there - her foster moms have been at the ER giving her lots of love. Thank you for helping her.
Today we are asking for your help. As an all volunteer, foster-based rescue, we are completely dependent on donations. Little Sunniva is in the ER with pneumonia. So far, we've incurred almost $2000 in vet bills for x-rays, meds, oxygen therapy, and in-patient care. In a case like this, we will do everything within our power to give her (or any other kitten) as much support as possible to give them the chance to improve and thrive.
This kitten season has been brutal and we're not that far into it. With over 70 cats and kittens currently in care, we are going through almost $1000 worth of kitten food every 2-3 weeks. Add formula for bottle babies, vet visits and lab bills for kittens with upset tummies, upper respiratory infections, meds for ringworm, vaccines, viral tests, and it's a substantial amount of money going out.
Any donation helps, big or small. If you can't donate, sharing our story helps Sunniva, the cats and kittens with us now, those coming later this week, next week, and for months to come. Thank you!

Posting for a rescuer we work with, hoping to help find the home this sweet boy needs and deserves.
Rambo is a handsome classic bullseye tabby with white markings. He was rescued from a feral feeding station as a kitten and adopted. At between 6 and 7 years old, he's a mature gentleman with excellent manners.
Sadly, Rambo's owner passed away in May, and he is now looking for a new forever home.
With his adorable cross-eyed face and loving nature, Rambo is truly one of a kind. He can be shy at first, but once he feels safe, he's incredibly affectionate. He loves head kisses, scratches, gentle pets, and will happily rub against you or flop beside you for attention. He also loves relaxing in a tall cat tree, watching the world go by.
Rambo has lived with other cats and may enjoy a calm feline companion after a proper introduction. He hasn't lived with dogs or children, and he'd be happiest in a quiet home with an experienced cat person who will be patient and give him a little time to settle in and relax. If you ask him, somebody who works from home or is home a lot would be extra purrfect!

Tux enjoys pouncing and bouncing around with toys, chasing his brothers through the house, and goes absolutely nuts for the hand-under-the-blanket game. Besides playing with his siblings and all the cat toys, exploring corners, closets, and windowsills, his favorite thing in the world is squeezy treats. He's looking for a home where he can play all day long with one (or more) of his siblings. If not, he will want another cat/kitten willing to play hard and then snuggle up for a nap with him. This adorable gentleman is ready to bring light, love, and laughter home with him. He says cat friendly dogs are okay. Tux and his brothers at the Petco waiting to meet you. Seagull was found alone on Hwy 99 when she was a little over 4 weeks old. A thorough search didn't turn up her mama or any other kittens. She's been in foster care with another, younger kitten, adult cats, and a cat friendly dog.
Her foster mom describes Seagull as playful, silly, down with belly rubs, and while not a fan of being held, she does enjoy snuggling right up next to you. She's smart, inquisitive, and brave. She loves to be up high, always picking the highest perch available. This terrific tuxie is highly social and will need another cat or cats in her new home.
